Emerald Kalama Chemical has launched a new range of modifiers

MODULAST modifiers include innovative products with extremely low hydroxyl content and satisfactory EH&S properties, which allow them to be unmarked in North America without GHS and labelling

The new product outperforms other dibenzoates, providing excellent performance characteristics for applications such as thermoplastic footwear parts and accessories, molded polyurethane, dispersions/pastes and two-component adhesive systems

MODULAST modifiers produce tough but soft products, increase tensile strength, and can be used at higher loads

Julie Vaughn Biege, Director of Business Development, said: "Modifiers improve many of the properties associated with high quality in polyurethane applications

In addition to outstanding properties, MODULAST modifiers are highly compatible with polyurethanes and exhibit little precipitation even under high loads

As a result, Emerald Kalama entered a new market and expanded the range of paraben chemistry products in its product portfolio
