Electricity Brasil will auction 5.5 billion yuan of wind and transmission assets next month

Brazilian state electricity company Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA (Eletrobras) has announced plans to sell wind power and transmission assets to raise at least 3.
1 billion Brazilian reals (about 5.
46 billion yuan).

The plan announced by Eletrobras includes all equity investments it wishes to participate in, as well as the lowest price
of the expected standalone asset.
The sale will be executed
through an auction process scheduled for September 27, 2018.

The company will sell its interests
in 71 special purpose vehicles (SPEs) in 18 targets.
These include eight wind power projects with a total capacity of 1,605 MW and 10 transmission projects with a total mileage of 2,910 km (1,808 miles).
