    Eastman chemical company said on January 16 that it plans to invest $1 billion to build the world's largest molecular plastic recycling plant in France to help reduce the consumption of fossil fue.


    The facility, which will begin operations in 2025, will process up to 160,000 tons of hard-to-recycle plastic waste a year, Eastman said in an emailed stateme.
