With this transaction, BASF expands the strength of its polyamide business by bringing well-known innovative products such as the Technyl® brand under its umbrella

BASF is able to provide customers with better engineering plastics solutions, for example in the fields of autonomous driving and electric mobility

The deal also gives BASF better access to key growth markets in Asia, North and South America

By integrating the key upstream raw material adiponitrile (ADN), BASF will strengthen the polyamide 6.
