Royal Dutch Shell's Nigerian subsidiary said in a statement Tuesday that a gas pipeline in Nigeria's Belesa state was shut down
after a spill.

A company spokesman said there were reports on Monday of a leak in the pipeline, which carries gas to the company-run Gbaran gas plant

"We immediately shut down the pipeline and have informed relevant government agencies and stakeholders
