ALTIVIA Petrochemical Company's subsidiary, ALTIVIA Ketones and Additives, announced yesterday that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Dow Chemical to acquire Dow's Acetone Derivatives business and the Institute, West Virginia-based related chemical production plants and the Institut Industrial Pa.
According to Michael Jusbasche, Chief Executive Officer of ALTIVIA: “The acquisition of the Institut Industrial Park and related technologies provides opportunities for downstream expansion of ALTIVIA’s acetone production capacity and access to the global acetone derivatives mark.
It is understood that the Institut Industrial Park is the largest of its kind in North Ameri.
The park provides utilities and logistics services, and also supports a variety of chemical production activiti.
