Force Majeure Notice Regarding Dow Propylene Oxide

This letter informs you that due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow"), Dow is unable to provide you with the quantity of propylene oxide specified in the applicable sales agreement or purchase order ("Contract")

Subject to the terms of the applicable contract, Dow is exempt from performance during this Force Majeure Event

Dow has been informed by one of its upstream raw material suppliers that the supplier experienced an unexpected event that affected its ability to supply critical raw materials to Dow's business

Dow is using all commercially reasonable means to resolve the situation and hopes to restore propylene oxide supplies as soon as possible

Dow will distribute available products in a fair and reasonable manner

Your account manager will inform you of your allocation as soon as possible
