The three parties work together to tackle degradable materials
On December 16, Shanghai Donggeng Chemical Technology Co.
, Ltd.
announced that it has signed a cooperation memorandum agreement
with Johnson Matthey (JM) and Eastman.
The agreement shows that the three parties will cooperate in deepening the key technology research of carbon dioxide to high-performance material polyglycolic acid, and jointly create and share market opportunities
for degradable materials.
It is reported that the overall economy of the process is better than other syngas routes, and its device has high flexibility to meet market demand
.
Qian Ting, Managing Director of Johnson Matthey Catalyst Technologies and PGM Services China, said: "Johnson Matthey's synthesis technology and catalysts have been applied in areas such as decarburization cycle and emission control, and Donggeng has polyglycolic acid downstream polymerization technology, and the signing of this MoU is a new starting point
for in-depth cooperation between the three parties.

Tang Xi, chairman of Donggeng, said that Donggeng has rich experience in degradable plastics, new energy materials, bio-based materials, high-performance polymers and other fields, and the cooperation with Johnson Matthey and Eastman will provide more possibilities
