On August 18, the laying ship fully loaded with 220kV photoelectric composite submarine cable took off at the special terminal of Oriental Cable Submarine Cable, which is China's first domestic 220kV 1600mm2 XLPE insulated photoelectric composite submarine cable
provided by Oriental Cable for the 400MW offshore wind power project of Nanri Island in Putian, Fujian.
The successful delivery of submarine cable products fills the gap in this field in China and further establishes the industry position
of Oriental Cable as a leading submarine cable enterprise in China.
Dongfang Cable's first domestic 220kV photoelectric composite submarine cable was delivered
It is reported that this product is the industrial application
of the first national science and technology support plan project in the wire and cable industry undertaken by Oriental Cable in 2007 "220kV and below photoelectric composite submarine cable, submarine cross-linked cable and production equipment development".
At present, the products have passed the handover and acceptance and will be shipped to the project construction site, helping the "green new development"
of China's offshore wind power.
Dongfang Cable will provide three 220kV 1600mm2 XLPE insulated photoelectric composite submarine cables with a total length of 36.
35 km for the Fujian Putian Nanri Island offshore wind power project in batches, and the successful delivery of the first one fills the gap
