It is understood that in January, leading companies of titanium dioxide sent letters to increase the price, which led to an improvement in market sentiment.

The domestic and foreign markets of titanium dioxide are improving simultaneously.

In January, the average prices of rutile products were: 19,750 yuan/ton in East China, 19,800 yuan/ton in Southwest China, South China and Central China; the average prices of anatase products were: 18,250 yuan/ton in East China and 18,200 yuan/ton in Southwest China.

Import volume decreased, prices increased, exports maintained growth momentum

According to customs data, from January to February, China imported 23,900 tons of titanium dioxide, compared with 30,400 tons in the same period last year, down about 21.

From January to February, Taiwan, China accounted for 38% of the titanium dioxide import regions, Mexico accounted for 25%, and the United States accounted for 8%

From January to February, China's total export of titanium dioxide was 243,000 tons, compared with 201,100 tons in the same period last year, an increase of 20.

From January to February, India accounted for 12% of titanium dioxide exporting countries, Brazil accounted for 7%, Belgium accounted for 7%; the top ten titanium dioxide export countries were India with 12%, Brazil with 7%, and Belgium with Belgium.
