German telecommunications company Telekom Deutschland said 5G networks had been set up at 756 sites in Germany in the past 12 weeks, extending coverage to more than 87 percent of the population
.
In addition, the company deployed Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) to ensure LTE services are also available in these locations, adding 4G capacity at 478 sites and launching nine additional new LTE sites to increase coverage to 99%.
"We are accelerating the pace of mobile communications," said Walter Goldenits, managing director of Deutsche Telekom Technology, adding: "Currently, more than 32,000 sites in the telecom network are mobile

In addition, we have more than 1,500 new sites in operation
every year.
Thousands of existing sites also have LTE and 5G expansion

As part of our massive expansion campaign, 5G will become the new standard
for telco's cellular networks.
