    The first shipment ceremony of the first batch of heat exchange components, key components of steam generators in the world's first fourth-generation nuclear power plant, was held in Yixing, Jiangsu Province on the 31st, and it is expected that all 38 sets of heat exchange components will be delivered

    This batch of products will be applied to China's high-temperature gas-cooled reactor demonstration power station

    The heat exchange assembly is the core key component in the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor steam generator, each steam generator consists of 19 heat exchange components, each heat exchange assembly contains 5 layers of spiral coils, a total of 35 spiral tube bundles

    Wu Xinxin, head of the steam generator project team, said that the entire heat exchange component has a complex structure, requires extremely high precision, and the structure is the first design in the world, and there is no manufacturing process
    that can be referenced.
    In order to overcome this obstacle, Tsinghua Nuclear Research Institute set up a joint research group attended by teachers, technical workers and students, independently developed a large number of special tooling and fixtures, developed a unique set of process technology, and successfully completed two sets of heat exchange components for the experimental body

    undertook the production and manufacturing tasks
    of multi-head spiral heat exchanger tube bundles and heat exchange components.
    According to Zhuang Jianxin, founder of Jiangsu Yinhuan, the total investment of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor steam generator heat exchange components project is 125 million yuan, and an annual output of 228 sets of heat exchange components manufacturing capacity has been formed, which meets the demand for steam generators in two 600MW high temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plants, realizes large-scale and efficient industrial manufacturing of heat exchange components, and gradually forms a supply base
    for heat exchange components of high temperature gas-cooled reactor steam generators.

    Luo Xiaowei, the designer of the steam generator, introduced that the function of the steam generator is to heat the heat generated by the reactor into superheated steam through helium on the primary side, thereby promoting the steam turbine to generate electricity, which is the core equipment
    of the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor demonstration project.
    The whole equipment is independently designed by the Institute of Nuclear Research of Tsinghua University and has complete independent intellectual property rights
