According to news from Malaysia on January 3, the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) announced that the Rubber Production Grant (IPG) for Smallholders for December 2021 has not yet been activat.
No compensation will be given due to the farm-to-gate average price of Cup Gum in Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular being higher than the standard pri.
In December 2021, the average farm-gate prices for cup gum (50% dry gum content) in Peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak were RM9, RM6 and RM65 per kg respective.
From January 2019, the IPG will be launched when the monthly average price of SMR20 FOB is RM1/kg or the farm-gate price is RM5/kg or low.
