On February 28, the pile foundation of the first part of the polycarbonate joint project south of Lintong Road and north of Chemical No.

The project has a planned total investment of 6 billion yuan, covers an area of 50 hectares, and is expected to be put into trial operation in October 2023

The project is divided into two phases of construction

The second phase plans to invest 3 billion yuan to build a 260,000-ton polycarbonate project.

At present, the park where the project is located has built water supply, sewage treatment, industrial pipe gallery, raw material terminal and other supporting projects for the project, and is supporting the construction of special railway lines, electric power, steam pipelines, and parking lots for hazardous chemicals

The project will use 250,000 tons of toluene raw materials, of which Daqing Petrochemical Company will provide 220,000 tons and purchase 30,000 tons to produce 200,000 tons of pure benzene.

Since the start of construction, the project has received strong support from the province, city and Daqing High-tech Zone
