Daqing drilled overseas wells into offshore waters

Recently, the DQ050 drilling team of Daqing Drilling Saudi Arabia successfully won the bid for Saudi Aramco's AFK general contracting project
.
This is the first shallow sea artificial island drilling project undertaken by Daqing Drilling since the launch of overseas projects, and it is a new breakthrough
in Daqing Drilling's overseas market development from land drilling to offshore land drilling.

The AFK Project is a turnkey drilling project for Saudi Aramco, and in April 2021, Daqing Drilling Saudi Project Manager bid for Baker Hughes and Halliburton
.
After one and a half years of bid evaluation, in October 2022, Baker Hughes successfully won the bid and awarded the project to the DQ050 team
of Drilling Company.

AFK EPC project contract period of 3+2 years, the expected contract value of more than 50 million US dollars

Located on an artificial island near Jubail, a major town in eastern Saudi Arabia, and operating on an onshore extension of the Bali field in the shallow Saudi Sea, HSE management will adopt new offshore standards that will be far higher than those of traditional onshore wells
.

In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, the DQ050 team worked closely with the Saudi project manager department of Daqing Drilling to communicate with Party A in advance the specific requirements of the relevant new standards and accurately verify the actual differences
of the operation teams.

In the face of the new block and higher construction standards, the DQ050 team responded positively, worked with Party A and the three parties to formulate a rectification plan for the docking of on-site equipment with drilling fluid and rock chip non-landing equipment, and conducted forward-looking training for employees while ensuring on-site construction, so as to prepare for the smooth construction of the new block
