The Shanghai International Energy Exchange, a subsidiary of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, issued an announcement yesterday to solicit public opinions on crude oil options contracts and related rules.

The public solicitation of opinions includes "Shanghai International Energy Exchange Center Crude Oil Futures Options Contract", "Shanghai International Energy Exchange Center Options Trading Management Rules" and other relevant implementation rules amendments.

According to the contract announced this time (draft for comments), the crude oil option contract months are the last two consecutive monthly contracts, and the subsequent months will be listed on the second trading day after the underlying futures contract settles after the open interest reaches a certain value.
