Feng Yidong said that at present, the phenomenon of excessive packaging of commodities in China is still relatively common, which not only causes waste of resources and environmental pollution, but also increases unnecessary transportation and storage costs, increasing the cost of each link and the burden on consumers

In family life, with the popularization of food storage tools such as refrigerators, a large number of families buy excess fresh food for storage, which is easy to cause waste of resources and hidden health risks

Feng Yidong suggested that it is necessary to improve the system construction in the field of commodity packaging and strengthen the supervision of the implementation of the existing system

At the same time, promote the use of degradable and recyclable green packaging materials, strengthen the research and development of low-cost environmentally friendly packaging consumables, and improve the tractability and recyclability of commodity packaging materials

In addition, the public should strengthen the publicity and guidance of the concept of reasonable consumption, and arouse the public's recognition of traditional virtues such as diligence and thrift, and living within one's means; through the education of consumption knowledge, the social responsibility of citizens should be enhanced, and the consumption concept of on-demand shopping should be further established in the whole society.
