Leading materials company Covestro is expanding its partnership with printer manufacturer Stratasys, adding new proven filaments to the materials ecosystem for FDM technology, starting with Addigy® PA6/66-GF20 FR LS filame.
FDM is the third 3D printing technology that the two companies have collaborated on, as Covestro Somos® resins are already available in the stereolithography technology of the Stratasys Neo printer and the Origin One P3™ material ecosystem, providing production-ready "manufacturing-compliant" Materials + Printer" soluti.
Addigy® PA6/66-GF20 FR LS filament is the first Covestro filament in the new FDM open materials ecosystem that Stratasys announced at the Formnext trade show last Novemb.
As 3D printing enters the factory floor, manufacturing customers need functional materials that bring the right properties for their applications and meet specificatio.
