Lactalis, the world's largest dairy group, said recently that it has used up to 30 percent recycled polyethylene in the bottles of some of its frozen dairy produc.
Since June, Lanterice has claimed to have used 30 percent recycled polyethylene in its Nestlé Kefir bottles in Mexico for Spain and Portugal, as well as in the packaging of yogurt bottles sold in Portug.
Repsol says it uses advanced recycling technology to process waste plastics that are difficult to recycle mechanically, turning them into raw materials that can be used to make packaging that comes in contact with fo.
According to Lanterris, the entire value chain of the packaging, from raw material supplier Repsol to Mexico-based plastic bottle maker Logoplaste, and Lanterris Nestlé, which oversees the filling of the bottles, are ISCC PLUS certifi.
