China Petroleum Network News (Special Correspondent Peng Gang, Correspondent Dai Yun Wenbo) On May 1, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company Lu 211 well was successfully drilled, with a depth of 6,880 meters, a horizontal section of 1,700 meters, and a box encounter rate of 80.

Well Lu 211 is an appraisal well deployed in the Fujiamiao structure in the low-steep structure area of the middle uplift in the ancient depression of southern Sichuan.

At present, after more than 10 years of exploration and development in the shale gas field in southern Sichuan, PetroChina has formed a mature six main technology series for shale gas exploration and development shallower than 3,500 meters.
