are spherical or approximately spherical, and some are spear-like or kidney-like. The diameter of a single coli is about 0.8 to 1.2um.Due to the direction of bacterial cell division during reproduction and the degree of bacterial adhesion and arrangement after division can be divided into:
(i) diplococcus: split into double arrangements on a plane, such as biclobacter pneumoniae, meningococcal.
(ii) streptoccus: split on a plane and arranged in chains, such as hemolytic streptoccus.
(iii) micrococcus tetragenus: split on two planes perpendicular to each other, and form squares in four bacillus, such as tetracerides.
(iv) octobacteria (sarcina): split on three planes perpendicular to each other, and eight bodies overlap in cubes, such as vine octaccoccus.
(v) Staphylococcus: When split on several irregular planes, the bacteria accumulate in a staphylococcus-like arrangement, such as Staphylococcus aphdobacteria.
