Sinochem News Network News on October 19th, Clariant announced that at the 20th China Catalysis Academic Conference held in Wuhan, Clariant awarded the eighth China Catalysis Achievement Award to Xie Youchang, a physical chemist and professor at Peking University.

Xie Youchang concurrently serves as the deputy director of the Academic Committee of the National Key Laboratory of Catalysis, and his important role in the field of catalyst and adsorbent research and development has been recognized internationally

Clariant's continued sponsorship of this important award for the three China Catalysis Academic Conferences in 2021, 2023 and 2025 is based on the existing research cooperation with China's top universities
