Clariant and Jiangnan University in China inspire the next generation of personal care formula talents

The inaugural innovation competition, co-hosted by Clariant ,  was held at a leading academic institution in China's Jiangsu province to foster market-driven innovation

Shanghai, June 17, 2021 - Clariant and Jiangnan University in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China, have co-organized an innovative formulation competition to stimulate academia's interest in developing new formulations for the personal care market
.
Personal care is one of the dynamic segments of the chemical industry in China.
The competition attracted students from leading academic institutions.
Over 80 students signed up to compete.
The School of Chemistry, Jiangnan University held a presentation defense and award ceremony

Winners of the inaugural Innovative Formula Competition are selected by a jury based on criteria such as formulation innovation, market innovation and commercial viability
.
The zoned care smear mask brought by the "Unique" team won the highest award of this competition - the Innovation Excellence Award
.
This innovative face mask stood out from the competition with a market-driven innovative high-efficiency formula, natural ingredients and a comprehensive marketing plan full of national flavors, and came out on top
.
In addition to the Innovation Excellence Award, there are three Innovation Excellence Award winners

All four groups of winners received prize money and priority internship opportunities at Clariant
