On April 12, the relevant person in charge of the China International Import Expo Bureau stated at the online promotion meeting of the 5th China International Import Expo Energy, Low-Carbon and Environmental Protection Technology Zone held in Shanghai that the CIIE will gather around the world.
Liu Fuxue, deputy director of the Expo Bureau, said that the zone will continue to include new materials, new energy, building energy conservation, water treatment, and comprehensive environmental management around the theme of "low-carbon development, green recovery", and has attracted more than 40 companies.
Shi Zuoting, deputy director of the National Energy Conservation Center, said that the establishment of a special zone for low-carbon energy and environmental protection technology at the CIIE is of great significance to strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the industry, promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and addressing climate change
It is understood that in March 2020, the National Energy Conservation Center and the CIIE Bureau jointly prepared a special exhibition and supporting activities for energy conservation and environmental protection of the 3rd CIIE
