Chongqing: Rapid testing found that more than 160,000 liters of unqualified refined oil products

The reporter learned that the Chongqing Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, based on the supervision and random inspection over the years and the 12315 complaint and report data, took the urban-rural junction, rural areas, and national highways as the key areas, and focused on the gas stations that have not received sampling inspections in the past three years and had more consumer complaints, and deployed rapid testing
of refined oil products in 16 districts and counties such as Wanzhou, Fuling, and Changshou.

In Yuzhong District, the inspectors randomly selected 2 gas stations and invited consumer representatives to observe the whole process of
the rapid inspection.
At the gas station site, consumer representatives watched the workflows
of the inspectors such as sampling, sealing and rapid inspection.
According to the technical staff of Chongqing Metrology Quality Inspection Institute, the rapid detection of refined oil products is based on near-infrared technology for accurate analysis and rapid screening of liquid petroleum products, and the detection cycle of a single gas station is shortened from 10 days to 30 minutes, realizing the instant sampling and inspection

According to the relevant person in charge of the Chongqing Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the rapid inspection of refined oil products has promoted the construction of the product quality supervision "that is, sampling and inspection, reporting and disposal" mechanism, and the supervision coverage has been greatly improved compared with previous years, which not only improves the pertinence of supervision and the timeliness of disposal, but also reduces the impact of supervision and random inspection on the normal operation order of
