Recently, two of China's self-developed nuclear power technologies, ACP100 and CAP1400, have passed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Reactor Safety Assessment (GRSR).
The ACP100 is the world's first small reactor technology to pass the IAEA safety review and is an important milestone
in the development of small reactors around the world.
The CAP1400 passed the review after "Hualong No.
1", another independent nuclear power brand in China passed the IAEA reactor general design review
.
It is understood that the IAEA general reactor safety review, which is equivalent to obtaining the recognition of the corresponding technology by international authoritative institutions, can make it easier for projects to go to sea to gain the trust of Party A, and many Party A will require such review requirements
in the transaction process.
Through the IAEA general reactor safety assessment, ACP100 and CAP1400, two third-generation nuclear power technologies independently developed by China, are one step
closer to the international market.
