On November 3, 20 tankers loaded with LNG left the "Green Energy Port" in Yancheng, CNOOC, marking that the largest LNG reserve base in China officially entered the stage of liquefied export export, which is of great significance to the diversification of natural gas supply channels in East China and the peak shaving and supply of
    natural gas reserves.

Natural gas transmission is mainly divided into two modes
: pipeline gas export and tank car liquid external transmission.
Compared with pipeline external transmission, tank truck external transmission has high flexibility and wide coverage, which can distribute liquefied natural gas to downstream users at time, quantity and fixed points, and can also be used as an emergency supplement
    for pipeline natural gas.
The first batch of 20 tankers supplied a total of 400 tons of liquefied natural gas to Jiangsu Province, equivalent to 580,000 cubic meters
    of natural gas.
According to the standard of 20 cubic meters of gas consumption per household per month, 400 tons of LNG can meet the gas demand
of 29,000 households for one month during the peak gas consumption period in winter.

In order to ensure the smooth export of LNG liquid in the "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng, CNOOC Gas & Power Group Jiangsu Branch took the initiative to actively coordinate and efficiently handle the filing and license of tank vehicles, open up resource export channels, smooth the market sales of the largest liquefied natural gas reserve base in China, and promote the optimization and upgrading
    of the national energy structure.

Next, the supply scope of CNOOC Yancheng's "Green Energy Port" will also cover Anhui and Henan provinces, effectively ensuring the stable energy supply of Jiangsu, Anhui and Henan provinces, greatly enhancing the natural gas supply and emergency peak shaving capacity in East China, steadily improving the complementary and mutual insurance capabilities, and actively contributing
to the realization of the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
