to ensure national energy security.
Jinzhou 31-1 gas field is located in the Liaodong Bay area of the Bohai Sea, with an average water depth of about 30 meters
.
The field has built a new underwater production system, relying on Jinzhou 25-1 South, Asia's largest conjoined platform for development and production, and put into operation two gas wells, with a peak daily output of about 410,000 cubic meters of natural gas, an annual output equivalent to the use
of 400,000 households for one year.
Composed of wellheads, oil production trees and control systems, underwater production systems are key equipment for oil and gas exploitation, usually used in deep waters
.
For a long time, only a few European and American companies in the world have mastered the design and manufacturing technology of underwater oil production facilities, and CNOOC successfully conquered this equipment
in 2021.
In shallow waters, global offshore oil and gas development basically adopts the fixed jacket platform mode, and the oil production equipment is built on the platform to facilitate operation and adjustment

However, in order to reduce the occupation of the Bohai Sea, CNOOC has pioneered the use of underwater production systems for shallow sea development in the world, achieving a new breakthrough
in the development model.
In order to successfully develop this system, since 2019, CNOOC has set up a joint technical research team to jointly tackle key problems and solve bottlenecks
with the spirit of scientific and technological innovation and time does not wait.
In the past three years, the R&D team has produced 1264 drawings and compiled 450 technical specifications, integrated more than 100 supply chains at home and abroad, completed the design, processing, assembly and testing of domestic shallow water underwater production systems, and overcome the technical problems
of shallow water underwater production systems.
In order to realize the economical and effective use of shallow underwater production system, CNOOC takes project construction as the center, unites 14 relevant companies and departments, innovates the development model with the times, and strives to build a talent team center for underwater production system and an innovative highland
for scientific research.
The team gathered talents, gave full play to the advantages of independent innovation, and completed 18 equipment commissioning and more than 100 process optimization and transformation
