This is the first time in the South Grid that stranded carbon fiber composite core conductors have been implemented on a 500 kV voltage level line project
.
It is reported that the 500 kV North A and B Line capacity expansion and transformation project is one of the projects to implement the requirements of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government and fully guarantee the power supply of Guangdong Province, the construction of the project can effectively alleviate the power supply pressure from west to east of the province before the completion and operation of the western section of the outer ring of the target grid frame, improve the power grid in Foshan area to withstand natural disasters, ensure the power supply of important loads in Foshan and surrounding areas under emergency conditions, and create conditions
for the exchange support capacity of the east-west section.
The project is scheduled to be completed by March 30 this year
.
At present, Foshan Power Supply Bureau has comprehensively promoted the progress of project construction, launched the coordination mechanism of daily attack, and timely dealt with the problem of youth compensation and material arrival that affected the progress of the project, and the overall progress of the project has been completed by 65%.
