China Society of Chemical Industry officially issued the Code of Engineering Ethics in the Chemical Industry

As the impact of modern engineering on human society and nature becomes more and more profound, large-scale, comprehensive, complex, and engineering influence have increasingly become important features of modern engineering.

In 2020, the "Guideline for the Ideological and Political Construction of Higher Education Curriculum" issued by the Ministry of Education emphasizes that engineering professional courses should emphasize the strengthening of engineering ethics education for students, cultivate students' spirit of great craftsmanship for excellence, and inspire students to serve the country through science and technology.

"China Chemical Engineering Institute Code of Ethics" was drafted by the China Institute of Chemical Engineering Ethics Education Committee, after public comment and community-wide, in 40 sessions of 17 issued after the meeting by the executive director of the times.
