China Overseas Chemical's 200,000-ton acrylonitrile/70,000-ton MMA project is under construction

Recently, the acrylonitrile project of China National Offshore Petrochemical Co.

The acrylonitrile project is a key project of CNOOC’s 13th Five-Year Plan.

The construction scope of the acrylonitrile project includes 200,000 tons/year acrylonitrile device, 70,000 tons/year MMA device, 214,000 tons/year SAR device, 120,000 tons/year ethyl styrene styrene device, and supporting public engineering facilities and peripheral auxiliary equipment.

The start of construction of this project is a key step for China Overseas Chemical's downstream industry to move into the fine chemical industry.

On the morning of July 13, 2020, 18 cities, counties (districts) in Hainan Province held the Hainan Free Trade Port construction project (the second batch) at the same time.
CNOOC Dongfang Petrochemical Hainan Fine Chemicals Project Phase II Project Acrylonitrile Series Plant Project is among the start-up projects.
The total investment of the project is 2.
776 billion yuan, and 120 million yuan is planned to be invested this year.
It is expected to be completed and put into operation in November 2022.
