Recently, an important livelihood protection project between China National Nuclear Corporation Qinshan Nuclear Power and the Haiyan County Government-the nuclear heating and energy-saving project demonstration project started in Haiyan

This is China National Nuclear Corporation’s first nuclear energy heating energy-saving project demonstration project.
The nuclear energy heating technology route of the project is mature, the market prospect is broad, and the development potential is huge

As an important livelihood protection project in Haiyan County, it will use the remaining thermal power of the Qinshan nuclear power base unit in winter to provide safe, zero-carbon nuclear heating to residents and public facilities in Haiyan County without affecting the original power generation and safety performance of the unit.
The project is divided into three stages, covering the main urban area of Haiyan County and the entire area of Shupu Town
.
The first stage of the demonstration project is planned to be completed and put into operation within this year, realizing nuclear energy central heating for a total of 459,000 square meters in three living areas and 5,000 square meters of apartments for the elderly in Haiyan County
The Qinshan Nuclear Power Base is the nuclear power base with the largest number of nuclear power units and the richest reactor types in China.
The project will make full use of more than 30 years of experience in nuclear power construction, operation and management, and provide reliable technology, talents and resources
