Approved by the state, and under the leadership of the China Industrial Anti-Corrosion Technology Association, the National Anti-Corrosion Standardization Technical Committee was established in 2008

In 2016, approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) TMB75/2016 Resolution, the International Corrosion Control Engineering Full Life Cycle Standardization Technical Committee was established

On September 1, 2019, China Industrial Anti-Corrosion Technology Association proposed to change its name to China Corrosion Control Technology Association and applied to the Ministry of Civil Affairs
