The IPCI project is the largest chemical project and the first polyolefin project in Kazakhstan, and it is an important achievement
of China Chem's implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the continuous deepening of China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation.

The project lasted nearly 5 years and mainly included a 500,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) propylene plant and polypropylene (PP) plant, as well as the general contracting work of design, procurement, construction, start-up and performance assessment of the public works required by the two process plants

The successful completion and commissioning of the project will provide important support for promoting the upgrading of Kazakhstan's petrochemical industry and effectively promote local economic and social development
