Taipei, September 22, 2021/PRNewswire/ - In order to fulfill Chi Mei’s “Clean & Green” environmental commitment and respond to the international carbon-neutral carbon reduction trend, Chi Mei Industrial and butadiene supplier Braskem reached an agreement to import butadiene The carbon-neutral cooperation agreement for the transportation of diene was carried out by the cargo ship Clipper Hermod from Brazil and arrived at Anping Port in Tainan on August 7, completing the world's first carbon-neutral butadiene transportation

This voyage carried approximately 1,819 metric tons of carbon dioxide from Chi Mei cargo.
