Sinochem News on September 22, in order to fulfill the environmental protection commitment of Chi Mei Clean & Green, Chi Mei Industrial and butadiene supplier Braskem reached a carbon-neutral cooperation agreement for the transportation of imported butadiene, which was carried by the freighter Clipper Hermod from Brazil Departure, arrived at Tainan Anping Port on August 7 and completed the world's first carbon-neutral butadiene transport

It is reported that this voyage produced approximately 1,819 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the Chi Mei cargo
