"Nuclear Power Plant Emergency High Capacity Battery Storage System R&D Demonstration Project" is a national energy application technology research and engineering demonstration project, and is the core project
of "passive" emergency power supply for nuclear power plants.
The overall scale of the project is 3MW/4MWh, which was launched in 2011 and officially put into operation in December 2014, lasting a total of four years, becoming the first energy storage system applied in the field of nuclear power emergency power supply, achieving a historic breakthrough
.
Among them, the container energy storage system (500KW/500KWh) can operate independently and autonomously, or it can be operated in parallel with the station-type energy storage system
.
The whole acceptance process includes technical defense, document review, on-site operation test of the unit, etc
.
In this acceptance work, all aspects of the technical parameters and performance of the energy storage system provided by BYD were unanimously recognized by the expert group, and finally successfully passed the acceptance and confirmed the conclusion
that such systems are suitable for promotion in the field of nuclear power.
As the only BYD that has passed the full set of identification tests of nuclear-grade energy storage equipment, BYD has successfully passed the acceptance of the National Energy Administration, marking that its energy storage products have fully entered the field of nuclear power, and further consolidating BYD's position in the field of nuclear power with the level and maturity of energy storage technology
