    The global carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) project is expected to absorb 550 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere annually by 2030 as the energy transition accelerat.


    Smart Consulting estimates that by 2030, the CO2 capture cost of CCUS projects will be US$75-100 per ton, and the total market value of the industry may reach US$55 billi.


    Europe and North America will dominate the global CCUS market by 2030, with a carbon capture capacity of 450 million tonnes, more than 80% of the global carbon capture capaci.
