In order to provide customers with the most efficient and competitive wind energy solutions and underscore its commitment to the expansion of the Brazilian wind farm market, Vestas announced earlier this year that it will produce its leading onshore wind turbine V150-4.

2 MW wind turbine fits well with the wind conditions in Brazil, having secured a 151 MW company and an unconditional order for the Folha Larga wind farm in Bahia, bringing the total order for wind turbines in Brazil to 252 MW

The order includes 36 V150-4.
2 MW wind turbines and an Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for wind farm operation and maintenance for the next 20 years, provided by Casa dos Ventos, one of Brazil's largest wind project developers

We plan to start construction in 2019 and have the wind farm fully operational by 2020, exceeding its regulatory plan

36 wind turbines will be produced locally under the FINAME II rules of the Brazilian Development Bank, consolidating the 4 MW platform as the most competitive in
the Brazilian market.
More specifically, the turbines will be assembled at Vestas' plant in Aquiraz, Ceará State, and will generate hundreds of new jobs once completed, reinforcing the company's long-term commitment
to the Brazilian market.
It was revealed that the turbine delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020, while commissioning
is expected by the end of the second quarter of the same year.
