In the second quarter of this year, the United States added 626 megawatts of new wind power capacity, and the total installed capacity of wind power in the United States has exceeded 90 GW

According to the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) released the US wind energy industry's Q2 2018 market report this week, a total of 626 MW of new wind capacity came online in the second quarter, an increase of 75%
over the same period last year.
In the first half of this year, the new wind power capacity in the United States has reached 1032 megawatts, so far, the national wind power capacity has exceeded 90 GW, enough to provide clean electricity
for 27 million households.
Even more impressive, however, are the wind power facilities
currently under construction across the country.
Construction began in the second quarter with 5,322 MW of wind capacity, bringing total construction activity to a record 18,987 MW
