South Korea's LG Electronics (KRX: 066570) has set a goal
of using 100% renewable energy in all of its local and overseas operations by 2050.
The transition period will be phased
in through the installation of solar panels, the purchase of renewable energy certificates and the signing of power purchase agreements (PPAs).
LG said in a statement that it will launch the process in North America, with its local subsidiary planning to switch to renewable energy by the end of 2021 to cover energy used in production, logistics and offices

By 2025, all of the group's overseas operations will be entirely dependent on renewable energy

The electronics manufacturer noted that its plant in Noida, India, has deployed 3.

In South Korea, LG expects to supply 60% and 90% renewable energy by
