    NextEra Energy currently has 7,902 MW of wind, solar and energy storage facilities in operation and has signed contracts
    for another 9,321 MW to be implemented this year and next.
    A report by the parent company shows that 10,525 MW-12,700 MW of renewable energy is expected to be added during 2021-2022 and another 12,150 MW-17,300 MW
    in 2023-2024.

    The largest share of the new additions will come from solar installations, of which 4,800 MW-5,600 MW in 2021-2022 and 7,000 MW-8,800 MW
    in 2023-2024.
    In terms of wind power, 3,700 MW-4,400 MW are planned for 2021-2022 and another 2,250 MW-3,500 MW
    by 2024.
