The first flow enhancer for semi-aromatic polyamides developed by Brüggemann, BRUGGOLEN TP-P1810, is now on the market
.
This product joins the BRUGGOLEN TP-P1507 series, which has been used worldwide for aliphatic polyamides such as PA6, PA66 and PA12
.
The company now supplies flow enhancers for the entire polyamide range
.
They are supplied in pellet form for easy compounding and dispersion during direct injection molding and compounding
.
Trials at RJG Technologies have shown that BRUGGOLEN TP-P1810 can reduce cycle times by more than 20% during molding and can significantly inject filled compounds containing 50% and more glass fibers into very complex shapes
.
During molding tests, the 50% (by weight) glass fiber reinforced semi-aromatic polyamide flow spiral length was extended by 70% at a dosing rate of only 1.

Dr.
Klaus Bergmann, Head of the Polymer Additives Division at Brüggemann, said: "As emission regulations continue to tighten, we are seeing a quest for lighter and lighter components
