The methanation catalyst jointly developed by CNOOC and Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute, in Xinjiang Kinghua large-scale coal-to-natural gas project, ran smoothly for the first time under harsh conditions exceeding the design load of the device by 10%, and the obtained methane concentration was 61.
