According to Xinhua, Brazil's second ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission line, built by Chinese companies, will be completed
ahead of schedule.
Once completed, the 2,518-kilometer transmission line will transmit electricity
from the Beautiful Hills hydroelectric power station in northern Pará to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's second-largest city and main tourist destination.
China Shandong Electric Power Construction First Engineering Company (SEPCO1) is working to complete deliveries in February 2019, three months before the contract deadline, with one end in southeast Minas Gerais and the other in northeast
