Borouge enters a new stage of expansion to build the world's largest mixed feedstock cracker

Borouge, a well-known global provider of polyolefins, has announced a HTC capacity expansion plan to more than double the current annual production capacity of 5 million tons by 2030, when the production capacity will exceed 9 million to.

As part of the plan, the company is currently building the world's largest mixed feed cracker in Ruwais, Abu Dha.

Borouge's fifth polypropylene (PP) production unit is scheduled to start production in 2021, with a designed annual capacity of 480,000 tonn.

Borouge also plans to significantly increase production of black polyethylene, a compound used in pressure piping applications, in 202 This capacity expansion helps meet the growing demand for compounding pipe materials in China and other emerging economi.

Borouge will also continue to develop innovative single-material solutio.
