According to data from MRC DataScope, in the first 11 months of 2021, Belarusian polypropylene (PP) imports increased to about 106,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.

In November 2021, Belarus’ polypropylene imports fell to 9,000 tons from 9,100 tons a month earlier, and local companies increased their purchases of injection-molded propylene copolymers in Russia, while homopolymer purchases stabilized slightly over the same period.

In November 2021, Belarus imported about 2,200 tons of propylene copolymers, compared with 2,300 tons in the previous month, as local companies significantly reduced their purchases of propylene injection molding block copolymers (PP block copolymers) from Russian producers.
