BASF announced the technical completion of a new plant for its plastic additives business in Pontecchio Marconi, Italy

Cultivated plastics, the use of plastic materials in agriculture, play an important role in helping farmers improve crop yields and food quality in increasingly difficult environments

BASF's Pontecchio site is already the main production unit for the HALS and NOR® HALS product lines of hindered amine light stabilizers

Equipped with a recently developed digital technology platform, the new factory will provide innovative solutions to accelerate the site's move towards Industry 4.
