BASF has expanded its product range of expanded polypropylene foam Neopolen

Compared to existing grades, the new material Neopolen P 9235+ has improved surface properties, a 20% deeper color impression and optimized manufacturing fill properties

Parts made from Neopolen P 9235+ produce much less friction noise, and the black foam granules are suitable for automotive parts and dunnage trays subjected to compact stress, as well as for structural and protective applications in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems

Neopolen® P 9235+ is listed in the material data system IMDS for the automotive industry and will be available in Europe from now on

Neopolen® P 9235+ provides a high-quality, smooth surface, which is an advantage for visible components such as car trunk liners

Neopolen® P 9235+ shows the proven properties of the Neopolen® range, characterized by high energy absorption, low weight, good resilience under static and dynamic loads, and essentially unchanged energy absorption under repeated shock loads

The new grades are chemical and grease resistant, thermally insulating, and have low water absorption
