BASF stated that the increase in production investment aims to meet the growing demand for high-performance lubricants in the Asia-Pacific region, while at the same time further consolidating BASF's market position, providing customers with a stable supply of goods, and vigorously supporting its business development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Synthetic ester base oils are a key ingredient in high-performance lubricant formulations and have a number of sustainable advantages.
Application areas include environmentally friendly refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, automobiles, and industrial lubricants.
